Screen videos are how people explain software today. A good one makes a product feel effortless. A bad one makes you squint at a tiny cursor for three minutes.
The tools that make them look good are wonderful, and expensive. They charge every month for work your own computer can do perfectly well.
So we built Dolly the other way around. Recording, editing and export all run on your machine. We don't need your account to record, and we only host a video when you ask for a link to it. That's why Dolly is free, with no time limit, and why Pro is about hosting and extras rather than the basics.
