€9.99 a month or €59 a year. No logo, 4K at 60 fps, GIF, unlimited Dolly links with stats, password and expiry, your own button and branding, and Connect your AI (MCP).

Lifetime

€99 once (€49 for the first 500 founders). Everything on your Mac, forever: no logo, 4K at 60 fps, GIF, Connect your AI and Quick Share. Hosted links beyond Free's 10 are part of Pro.

Every account gets Dolly Pro free until 30 November 2026. After that, new accounts get 14 days of Pro, then Free. Refund within 30 days. Pricing.

Record, edit, export

Record

A display, a window (click it on screen) or an area (the last one is remembered) at 60 fps, with microphone, system audio and camera in sync. An iPhone or iPad over a cable is coming soon.

While recording

A teleprompter under your camera (⇧⌘1) and drawing on screen (⇧⌘D). Neither appears in the video; drawings stay editable.

Edit

Auto zoom, 25 cursor sets, backgrounds and frames, a timeline with several takes, cutting a middle part in two actions, speed per clip, blur, title cards, captions, and a Transcript tab: select words and press ⌫, or remove ums and long pauses in one click. Title, summary and chapters suggested on your Mac.

Export

MP4 in 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 4K at 24, 30 or 60 fps, in 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4 or 9:16. Tall shapes follow the action, and Also export vertical adds a 9:16 file in the same run. Free exports up to 1080p with a small Made with Dolly logo in the corner; 1440p, 4K and no logo on Pro and Lifetime. Streaming loudness (-16 LUFS). GIF on Pro and Lifetime. ⌘E exports, ⇧⌘E copies the video to the clipboard.

Interactive demos

Export › Interactive demo turns a recording into a clickable step-by-step demo (one step per click or burst of typing, captions from what you said), saved as a folder that opens offline or shared as a demo link. Every plan; Free shows a small Made with Dolly link. Interactive demos.

Dolly links

Get link

A short link on link.getdolly.app, on your clipboard in under a second; it plays as soon as the video is ready. ⇧⌘L in the editor, or set After recording to Get link and stopping is enough.

Watch page

Comments at a moment (no login), video replies (a viewer records their screen or camera, up to 5 minutes), reactions, transcript and captions, chapters, a call-to-action button, password, expiry, downloads on or off, embed.

In Dolly

Every link has its own page in Dolly Home with Insights (views, unique viewers, average watched, a drop-off curve, without cookies), Comments (reply as the creator) and Settings.

Price

Up to 10 active links on Free; a link with no views for 90 days is archived, and you can restore it within 30 days. Unlimited links with stats, password, expiry and your own branding on Pro. Dolly links.

Privacy

On your Mac

Recording, transcription, editing and export happen on your Mac. Nothing leaves it unless you choose Get link, and then only that video.

Accounts

Optional. Free works without one. Pro, Lifetime and the launch gift live on your Dolly account (sign in with a code by email), on up to three Macs. Viewers of a link don't need an account.

Dolly Agent (MCP)

What it does

Your own AI drives Dolly through MCP: it records, edits, works with the transcript, looks, annotations and teleprompter, exports MP4, GIF or an interactive demo, manages your Dolly links, and makes whole explainer series of your app with a voice-over made on your Mac. Not through MCP: drawing with the pen during a take, and deleting links or comments.

Works with

Claude Desktop (one-click install), Claude Code (command and skill), Cursor and any MCP app that runs local servers. ChatGPT not yet.
