Price
FocuSee's pricing has a Standard plan at $19.99 a month or $49.99 a year for one computer, and Advanced at $24.99 a month or $79.99 a year for up to three computers, with 300 AI credits a month. There's also an Advanced lifetime license at $199.99 once for up to five computers; it covers FocuSee 2.x, and a new major version costs extra. The free trial lets you export one video.
Dolly is free with no time limit (up to 1080p, with a small logo in the corner). Pro is €9.99 a month or €59 a year, and Lifetime €99 once, with every future update included.
Auto zoom and cursor
Both apps find your clicks and zoom there for you. Dolly moves the camera on springs you choose (focused, balanced or smooth), from 1.2× to 3.5×, with motion blur, a Loupe magnifier and an instant cut. It redraws your cursor from 25 sets, with click effects and sounds. FocuSee has cursor animation and a spotlight effect. Try both on the same take; motion is a matter of taste.
Extras
FocuSee includes a teleprompter, AI noise reduction, camera background removal and phone recording, and sells AI features like avatars and AI subtitles on credits. Dolly has a teleprompter too, removes or blurs your camera background on your Mac, cleans up your voice, makes and translates captions, and writes a title, summary and chapters, all without credits. It can also draw on screen while you record, and Dolly links give you a share page with comments and reactions (10 active links on Free, unlimited with insights on Pro). Recording an iPhone or iPad over a cable is coming soon in Dolly.
