Auto zoom

How Dolly decides where to look.

How it works

Dolly groups your clicks into moments and adds a zoom for each one. Clicks close together share one zoom, so the camera doesn't jump around.

Adjust a zoom

Click a zoom on the timeline to change its level (1.2× to 3.5×), drag it to move it, or drag its edges to make it longer. Press Z to add your own. Pick a fixed point, or let the camera follow your cursor.

Animation

The camera moves on springs. Choose Focused, Balanced or Smooth, or Instant for a hard cut. The motion blur slider adds a filmed feel to fast moves.

Loupe

Switch a zoom to Loupe to magnify a detail in a lens while the rest of the screen stays visible.
