Recording an iPhone or iPad over a cable is coming soon. It isn't in Dolly yet: it comes once it has been tested on real devices. Until then, record a display, a window or an area.

What it will do

Plug the iPhone or iPad into your Mac with a cable, and record its screen with its sound. In the editor the recording sits in a phone or tablet frame drawn by Dolly, and a phone project starts in 9:16.
