Troubleshooting

When something doesn't work.

"Dolly can't be opened"

Right-click Dolly in Applications and choose Open. See Install.

Black recording

Dolly doesn't have Screen Recording permission yet. See Permissions, then restart Dolly.

No zooms

Auto zoom needs clicks. If you only scrolled or typed, add a zoom yourself with Z.

Export is slow

4K at 60 fps takes about four times as long as 1080p at 30 fps. Close other video apps and keep your Mac plugged in.
